Creating an event in the software is very simple. Navigate to the Dashboard by clicking the EventOPS logo that is located at the top left corner of any page when you are in the software. Next click on located in the top right hand corner of the page.
Note:If you do not see the Create Event button on the Dashboard you are logged into a vendor account and do not have access to create your own events. Please contact firstname.lastname@example.org if you think there is an issue with your account or would like to purchase EventOPS.
You will be directed to input information about the event. You must enter a Event Name, Location, Start Date, End Date, and Event Color. You may also enter in optional fields such as Event Description, Things to remember, and upload a logo for the event.
Once you have entered a location the timezone will be auto populated with the correct timezone.
Note: The Location, Timezone, and the map pin are linked together. If you change any one of the three selections the others will be updated as well.
Once you have filled in the event information, click and your event will be created.
